Please allow for the option to create a submittal revision WITHOUT having to mark the submittal "REJECTED". A submittal does not have be rejected to create a revision. It is inaccurate to mark a submittal as rejected to create a revision, there are many reasons why a submittal would have a revision besides rejection.

The simple answer here is to just change the title on "REJECT" button to "RESUBMIT". We have circumstances where the Architect uses a response "Approved as Noted - Resubmit". In order to create a revision, the submittal needs to be rejected. It is very confusing to the recipient to receive a notification that says REJECTED and then "Approved as Noted - Resubmit". A RESUBMIT state will work with Rejected, Revise & Resubmit, AAN - Resubmit, etc.

We definitely need this. We often like to track "field use drawings", which typically incorporate approved as noted comments into them. Often times, we resubmit this field use set for approval due to additional changes.

On a very related note, if a consultant marks the submittal as reviewed (as opposed to rejected and create revision), but their markups and stamps and comments suggest that they want a new submission, the GC options are only to release or forward. You are forced to either remember to manually change the state or, if you foolishly release it, you then need to reopen it in order to create a revision. It would be good to retain the option in the action choices to create a revision even if the consultant marked it as reviewed.

I agree we want to be able to resubmit for record and have to falsely reject the drawings to make the revision

I strongly agree with this suggestion. Team needs to have the same abilities as Vista.

This would be very helpful. You should be able to do just like in Vista Submittal register. Approve or Revise any or all of items associated with a submittal.
