Can you please revise the way submittals are labeled once they are returned from the Architect and then processed by the General Contractor to the subcontractors? Currently, the submittals are labeled as closed, but there is no way to tell if they were approved, approved as noted, or rejected without opening each submittal. The final state of each submittal should be,approved, approved as noted, rejected etc... This will allow for easier sorting and review of any submittals that are rejected that need a revised submittal.

The Final State of Submittals needs to include the option of "Reviewed." Sometimes design teams choose the word "Reviewed," if it is a delegated design. "Approved" does not accurately reflect the state of the closed submittal.
Brendan is correct here - the Response column is the one you want for this, but we're re-examining the way we show submittal states - feedback is generally unanimous that showing the submittal is "Closed" is less important than showing what the final status is, and currently Team has the emphasis on the wrong field.
Ah good call.
I think this is done by using the "Response" column. If you set up a view to include this column you will not need to open the Submittal to find out if it is Approved or Rejected
