We need the ability to have multiple approvers actually be able to review and approve or reject a submittal. This is inconveniencing not only us but our architects who are extremely dissatisfied with having only one person in charge of answering submittals. Submittals are extremely important to the time frame of our projects so to have to wait for a response if the main approver is unavailable is just not acceptable. We cannot have a portion of a project on hold because of our submittal software. Please implement this change as soon as possible.

Thanks everyone, we will test this option out.
One thing to keep in mind. Unless it has been corrected, if you already have sbmtls assigned to Arch/Eng and it is in their court you may have to assign it to the new group again or the original Primary may no longer see it in their Assigned To Me list.
you can create distribution groups under the project setting and assign them instead of a specific person.
this should allow anyone under that "group" to address that rfi or submittal.
We have created an 'Architect' distribution group and if you assign that distribution group to your submittals, it seems to work properly. Hope this helps.
