There's already a feature to go look at the history of a submittal item to see everything that has occurred with that item (viewed, edited, etc). The problem is that this is a time consuming process to check several submittal items to see if they have been viewed yet. What I'm proposing is some sort of visual indication underneath the subcontractor or architect's name on the submittal page (possibly beside where their due date shows up). The indicator could be something as simple as "viewed". This would be a quicker solution to see who all has actually viewed the items that have been assigned to them, without having to go into the history.
