We were under the impression that Collaborators would be able to mark up and revise any documents in TEAM. Our workflow would be to have our office staff add documents, such as PO Receivers and allow the field to mark it up and add it back once products were received. There are other documents as well, such as drawings. A PM posts a drawing out there and our Supers are marking them up and it would make sense for them to add them as a revision rather than an addition document. If not full security to revise for all Collaborators then at least an add on security to allow certain users to revise other's documents.

We made an improvement in last night's release that allows collaborators to update files not created by them (so thus they are allowed to save markups).

Ultimately our goal is to provide more granular permissions that you can control per folder. In the meantime though, we've updated collaborators permissions to be able to edit another person's file. This is currently in development for the next release.

A consultant should absolutely be able to mark up a shop drawing/submittal. A must have.
