The ability to assign security groups per document folder is missing and critical. Currently the folder can be made Public or Private; individuals can be added, but not security groups.
We need the ability to add the entire group of "Subcontractors" or "Owner" etc. to the Document Folder.
We have created a project called Template for the purpose of copying the document structure the next project. Further, Viewpoint could even incorporate a document structure template into Team; The ability to lock this document structure by the Administrator would be especially helpful. This would keep the structure customizable for Viewpoint clients and consistent for our partners in business. A consistent document structure would lead to increased adoption of Team by internal and 3rd party participants because of the standardization that would be present for each project and therefore ease of navigation.
This would also reduce workload and security vulnerabilities as individual permissions would not have be set for every folder of every project.
Please strongly consider adding security group functionality to the document structure.
