When document revisions are uploaded all interested parties need to be notified. How we identify "interested parties" may be anyone that has been given collaboration rights to a folder. This is a real pain point with anyone performing work but not knowing they are working on an old rev. Suggesting that they always look for the latest doc in Team did not fly since there are so many paper copies in the field. Notifiers were essential.

Dear Viewpoint Suggestion Box contributor;
We at Viewpoint sincerely thank you for your contribution to Suggestion Box on how we can improve Viewpoint products. While we can’t do everything at once, we rely upon your feedback to help guide the prioritization of our product improvements, and Suggestion Box is a critical tool for us to understand and prioritize our customers’ needs.
Viewpoint reviews Suggestion Box regularly for all of our products and updates statuses, adds comments, and performs various house-keeping (including deleting) as needed to ensure that Suggestion Box is maintained as a productive environment for product enhancements requests.

Tracking, record of who items were shared with are all important areas that needs to be implemented. Team must add the tracking feature for all shared items sent and replies.
I agree that automatic notifiers would be very helpful and beneficial.
Thank you,

A great feature of Procore was the "tracking" option of folders within the Document module. If you selected to "track" a folder, anytime a new document was uploaded to the folder you would receive an email notification.
It seems this has been on the block for over 2 years now... Any updates on implementation?
This is definitely a needed feature so we can use it as an FTP site
We are also interested in notifications from changes to documents. Has there been any movement on this?
We really could use this function. For example, we have an Owners Rep on a project that uploads meeting minutes. It would be nice to know when those get uploaded, instead of having to remember to periodically check. We also had an architect upload some CAD files that a Subcontractor was waiting on, and he didn't tell anyone so the subcontractor had to wait an unnecessary week for those files until I remembered to check.
This has been planned for over 18 months, any chance there is an update or more explanation of how this might work?
This seems to have been marked to Planned, but not sure how long it has been in that status. While rolling TEAM out to the field this is our main complaint.
I would like to suggest a "Post Comment" option in folders within Documents so you can send notifications on selective uploads or revisions in lieu of auto notifications. I would also suggest Project Editors be the only ones able to Post Comments in this instance to keep number of random notifications down.
