It's very often that we deal with Architectural teams. Thus, when submitting an RFI, it's rare that the same person answers each RFI every time. We would like to see the ability to allow other designers, architects, engineers, owners, etc. the ability to respond to an RFI. This is currently allowed with submittals and would like to see it with RFIs.
The architects have complained that they have to log into each others accounts to properly respond to RFIs. Additionally, when an RFI is written it is often sent to the architect after which the architect could choose to have the civil or structural engineer from another firm respond. This isn't possible since only one person can be listed to respond to an RFI.
