currently the program does not allow for the "Author" to see the response from the design team in the chain of communication in RFI's. after the Design team answers and marks the RFI as answered the RFI stops at the"From" person and does not go back to the "Author" with no option for the "From" person to forward it to the "Author" after its been closed/mark as answered.

We are having the same issue as well, but also found out if you're the author, you will not get any notifications on even your RC overdues. Which is NOT great.
