users are complaining at the time it takes to add Foreman and Superintendents to EACH and every job they need access to. Some jobs could have 5-10 foreman/Supers. Some Foreman/Supers can work in multiple jobs and move from job to job often. It is VERY time consuming to add them over and over again to each job. If we had the ability to create a Foreman Group and add ALL our Foreman to that group, it would save time. Then we could add the FOREMAN group to each job. We don't mind if all our foreman can access all the jobs since they move from job to job a lot. Same would go for our estimators, project managers, etc. It would also help solve the issue of needing to add someone when an original member of that project leaves our employment. If we had Groups set up and assign GROUPS to the job, everyone would have access without waiting on us to add someone new. I think when the users are set up and we pick the level of permission we could also pick which group they should be a member of. it would be so easy and SO BENEFICIAL! Great time saver! kind of like Security Groups in Active Directory. Then you only need to add the SG to the project and anyone you add or remove from the GROUP will already have access or access will be removed.
