Users don't know when they have been granted new permissions to private folders, when granting new access there should be a check box to decide if you would like to send them a email notification that they now can access X named folder

I've created a case. I still don't see an email from TEAM.
We just ran verification tests on this as part of our release last night and were able to see these notifications. If you're still not seeing them, please open a support case so we can investigate your specific situation.
I'll have our QA team take a look at this, it was implemented many releases ago. Thanks for the feedback.
I wasn't aware that notifications happen when permissions are added to new users. I just added a user to a private folder, waited about 5 minutes or so, but no emails. There isn't anything in spam/junk.
This already exists, users should automatically get an email when you add them to a folder. If they are not, have them check their spam folder. If they're still not getting them, please contact support. This is expected to work.
