One of my projects duplicated RFI numbers and wants to fix them. They are not key fields (because it allows duplicates) so I figured i could go change them. But they had revisions against them, and evidently that locks the numbers down. If you are going to lock them down at some point, you should not allow duplicates. In fact, I can't think of why you'd want duplicates in the first place.

I keep running into the duplication as well. I don't want to have TEAM auto number them which allows duplication. I feel it shouldn't duplicate no matter how you decide to enter them.
