Often, subcontractors will have one PDF document that contains information for multiple submittal items (e.g. Product Data, Wiring Diagrams, and Shop Drawings for RTUs). They either have to submit the same document each time, or go into each item and make a comment that it is included in another submittal. Either way, there is wasted time going into each submittal item to approve it instead of approving multiple items within on document at one time.

There needs to be an option to include multiple items in one submittal for a specification section. You should be able to approve or reject specific items in the same submittal. If any items are rejected, you should be able to create a revision automatically containing those items.
Still waiting....lol. This would be the biggest help to everyone, no idea why it hasn't been implemented yet. May I suggest reworking the submittal bundle feature so that it has this functionality instead of just packaging the cover sheet, attachments, comment and history together. That functionality is the same as if you go to print it as a pdf. I literally got excited for a second when I saw create submittal bundle but then I was quickly disappointed to find out it was the same as printing to pdf.
Strongly agree that having a way to process or compile multiple submittal requests to match a subcontractor's single submittal would be very valuable. Typically, a subcontractor will compile several individual submittals required by an individual spec section into a single document. Need some flexibility to approve multiple lines - it is not easy to predict what the subcontractor will end up compiling together into a single submission.
Any update on when this might be implemented?
When will this be implemented? We use Vista and are trying to make the switch to Team but it doesnt have the package feature like Vista does so it makes it hard to link items together under 1 package. Currently I use Vista to create my transmittal cover sheet with all items packaged together and then upload it to Team to send to the Architect. When I receive it back as approved I cannot close out the individual line items related to it in Team like I can in Vista so I have to manually close them out as approved. It would be nice if you could give Team the same package functionality as Vista has.
We have the same issue. We would like to be able to have multiple submittal types within the same submittal (see attached picture). If possible, it would also be helpful to require each subcontractor to submit all the types that are required in a particular spec section before it can move on to me as the reviewer. for example, a current project I am working on, the masonry spec section requires submittals for; product data, shop drawings, samples, list of materials used in constructing mockups, qualification data, material test reports, and material certificates (see attached pdf).
