There appears to be no solid solution for easily and quickly filing/archiving email correspondence. Certain items/documents, such as RFI's, are able to log/track the information when sent from Team, however, 85% of the email traffic and correspondence seems to live in users mailboxes, not accessible to others and perhaps often not making it into the record file. We have several "work" arounds, all with certain flaw but it would be great to get an Outlook Add-in whereby a "token" assigned to an outbound email would track, document and copy all sent/replied emails in a thread into an email archive module in Team or a specific folder in Documents. The problem with dragging/dropping email into Documents is that the file name is the subject line and hence any reply to an email has the same file name and drag and drop won't work.

There should be a log, front end users can easily access of all sent correspondence from Team. Vista has an Outlook Add-In that the correspondence sent directly from Vista is recorded in outlook and can easily reference the correspondence. Currently, we have to reach out support every time we need record of information being communicated through Teams. As the sender of the correspondence, I do not receive any confirmation it was distributed.
