If a user does not enter their log that day, we need them to be able to enter a log for the previous day. This does not seem possible in TEAM. This is possible in Vista's PM Daily Log. This will prevent us from using it.

Overdue update - we added the ability to create a daily log for past days in the 2.6 release last month

We can't make our Supervisors Project Editors as this gives them access to Submittals, RFIs plus every document in the Documents module.

Our company would like that option. Not sure if all would so you could have option on issuing the log to allow edit so to satisfy both need to allow or not depending on company need or policy

Looks like there are two things here.
1. @mercedes Ability to enter a log for the previous day. You can create a log on any day via the "log" frame on the calendar? You can navigate to any previous day and add a "new log" via the log frame and create a new. This does require that you are a project editor.
2. @bobby Yes project editors can always edit. Do you want the assignees to be able to edit after posting?

We agree here. It looks like Project Editor can edit after posted but the assignee cannot once he posts
