The + on the daily log calendar view is defaulted to create a new series. We find that more often than not our staff end up with multiple series when all they had wanted to do was create a single log (for example on a Saturday that was worked when the series is not setup to include Saturdays). I think the default from that plus should NOT be set to make it recurring. Let people flip that toggle if they want but default to create the log on whatever day they had selected in the calendar (or today's date alternately).
