group submittals in view

There is currently no ability to group submittals by spec section, responsibility, etc. This is useful and should have been added at the beginning.

Actually we heard this one a lot this week - I think Brant means we need to be able to roll up the grid by various columns vs just sort. We have this planned for the Drawings tool so users can group by discipline/area/revision/etc. - we should able to apply that work to the Submittals/RFIs/Issues grid as well so I'll mark this one Planned.

Brant, Team does have this ability by using Saved Views from which you can save a view that is sorted by SpecSection and even saved as your default view. I think this should address your concern/suggestion.

Submittal Folders Merged

Use a folder structure for organizing submittals by division and spec section. When you have hundreds of submittals for one project navigating the list of submittals is exhausting. They should be filed under folders by division or spec section.
