I'd like to be able to easily download all attachments from multiple records from the grid rather than downloading attachments individually.
Putting this out there in relation to comments from VOLDC-I-23.

How can we download just the attachments without the Submittal cover sheet? We’d like to be able to select all Submittals and then Download All.

This is just an export of Submittals/RFIs/Issues to begin with. We do plan to build an export of documents in their folder structure for closeout but we're not quite there yet. We've also added the ability to export Daily Logs in bulk with the 2.4 release last night.
The way we plan to move forward with this is providing the ability to select from the grid and adding a "print all" button.
When you click the button this would (using submittals as an example) give you a zip archive containing one file per submittal revision that consists of the combined cover sheet and attachments with a naming convention to clearly identify each item e.g. Submittal_030600-01_Concrete Admixtures_Rev0

I checked in with our PE's and they would want to be able to download all submittals or whatever is selected into a zip folder. They wouldn’t want the submittals to be combined into a single pdf.

I am thinking that a zip of the original files would be best for us. If we keep original drawings/files in the file structure, we would prefer to have a download of our project for our permanent storage.

Question for the group - in the 2.4 release (May 3rd) selecting Print on any item will give you a single PDF of all attachments combined with a generated cover sheet.
Would you rather have the ability to download just the attachments (in a zipped folder structure) for multiple items from the grid (like this suggestion originally says), or get multiple combined PDFs of selected items instead?

This is great. Would this be how you approach the turnover process of closeout? We need a quick way of downloading all documents and information from Submittals, RFI's, Issues, etc.
