I closed a RFI that I need to keep open. Is there a way to open a RFI or submittal after it has been closed?

A reopened RFI could just go back to a Responded state and an Open (or some Intermediate status). That's essentially where it is if it isn't considered closed. Most likely we'd only reopen an RFI if it had been closed by mistake. If it was a new issue or something had changed it would be a new RFI.
I would say re-process or change from approved to revise and rsbmt or simply add comment and/or attachments and re-close.
Question: If I reopen an RFI (or Submittal or Issue) what state should it land in? Or put another way when you reopen it what should you be able to do with it?
I like this idea as there has been occasion where the RFI needs to be resurrected. This would be handy as well for submittal as I currently have a case where I would like to upload a revised sheet or drwg that had to be revised due to an RFI after the sbmtl was closed. If a person could add or comment to sbmtl after closed by reopening or editing after closed could be helpful.
