Sort numbers as numbers in the registers

Currently if using the auto numbering for Submittals and RFIs, the "Sort By" is being handled by left justification. This causes the default display to show number 1 followed by number 10 thru number 19 before number 2 is displayed.

To address this, we might potentially change the justification or add leading zeros to the auto numbering.

My submittals are not sorting and jumping around with the ######.### format. Big issue with looking for submittals by number if you get into the hundreds and thousands of submittals. Please resolve.

Sorting by submittal number seems to still be unresolved. Any movement on this?

After the release of 2.7 we encountered a problem in the new sorting that negatively impacted some customers so we backed out the change until we had an opportunity to correct the problem. We expect to have sorting back in place by the end of this week or early next week.

We're running version 2.7 and sorted the Submittals and it's still incorrect.  It sorts 99 before 154, 20 then 2, 1 then 10, then 100.  Our Submittals are auto-numbered so we have no control over the numbering.

We'll finally have proper number sorting implemented on both web and mobile in the 2.7 release!

Numbering should be #001-999.  Would solve all issues with sorting.  Any major project will have over 100 RFIs, and I have a feeling that if they just make this #01-99 we'll have the same issue we're having now.

Please enact this request...it is much needed!

When you start getting into hundreds of Submittals, trying to find one in TEAM is nearly impossible and forces us to use the Filter every time.  If we use the Auto-Numbering, these are NUMBERS and should not be sorted as text.

I would like to echo this request. I have had a number of requests for this to be corrected by project users.
