Request to be able to drag and drop emails from Outlook into TEAM Documents

Dragging and dropping from Outlook to a browser is unsupported by Microsoft. We'll continue to look for better ways to get emails into Team (for instance through a Desktop tool). However, for now, we are unable to add direct support for dragging directly out of Outlook to the browser application.
If you drag an email to your desktop first, then drag it onto Team Documents, the browser will pick it up correctly as the file is then coming from Windows Explorer, not directly from Outlook.

This should be revisited since it was originally requested in 2017. Microsoft has changed a lot in the last 4 years.
There is something similar to this with Spectrum in using the email server. If this is not going to ever be an option then we need to be able to link to the Spectrum Project Correspondence Log.
You have added this functionality to your Viewpoint for Projects product via Outlook Plugin. This was one of our favorite features. Please reconsider adding to Team.

We use a software package called Legal Files, and we can upload with an add-in right in Outlook. Legal Files is a browser based software we are using. Granted we have a server on site housing everything but they access it via a browser. The plug in would be the way to do it.
This is possible to do through the windows file explorer. The Viewpoint VFP Outlook plugin already does it now. Please reconsider.
You can create an Outlook add-in to accomplish this as other companies do (SmartSheet, etc.)
