Currently, when you select more than one file at a time to be uploaded, only the first will upload, the rest will stay indefinitely in the "Waiting to Upload" phase. Refreshing the page removes those still in that limbo phase. The issue is while one is waiting to upload, you cannot begin the process of uploading any more files or they won't upload successfully.
