Submit Your Suggestions for Viewpoint Team

Submitter is allowed to add a document to a submittal when the submittal is not in their court

Tested adding an attachment while logged in as the Submitter. TEAM allows drag and drop to  to submittals in other persons court. Tested was Submitter adding files to a submittal in the Approver Court. If in another persons court letting another collaborator add files is questionable. No email notification was sent that a file was attached to the one in the Approver's court.

Just recently, our Architect returned a submittal with comments and because we don't have better control of notifications, the submitter received the notification, was able to see the Architect's comments, and then acted on the submittal prior to the Reviewer completing his review. ONLY the BIC should be able to act on a submittal and we need more control of notifications. This issue has been hanging out there too long. It needs resolved as soon as possible.

We would also like to see this soon, for the same reasons listed.

Please expedite.  Same comment as above.  It creates confusion for the Design Team if something else is added without notification.  Only the ball-in-court should be able to edit and add attachments.

Please expedite. Our design team does not like seeing added items after it's in their court without a notification.

Somewhat related to this is that collaborators shouldn't have the ability to add files to a record that is closed. I've tried this twice and, while it throws various errors, the new version is still created. I was even able to change a file name as a collaborator after the record was closed. That seems problematic.

We just ran into this problem as well. The only user who should be able to add attachments to a record is the person whose court it is in or a Project Editor. This could cause major problems if anyone on the record could add a file at any time after it's moved on to another reviewer.
