Submit Your Suggestions for Viewpoint Team

Easy way to get approved submittals into TEAM where the owner is forcing the use of another submittal collaboration tool

Frequently the owner is forcing us to use an owner approved submittal collaboration tool. We still want a way to easily get approved submittals into TEAM so that they are visible to to our internal team. The best we have now is import the submittal list and then drag and drop the individual approved submittals. Then need to be able to change the State to "Closed" without having to go through the forced workflow.

    Hello, We are a subcontractor and we try to invite the GCs who we work for to use teams but they do not want to use teams. They rather ask us to send them the actual submittal fr the manufacturer and they will use their own template to send to the owner. Please can you implement a way for us to upload approved submittals without going through the process. Most of the GCs use project management software like procore but none use Teams by viewpoint and we have worked with over 500 GCs. They just don't want to add another step or program to add to their already 10 plus softwares to track projects

    It has been 3.5 years for the status "Planning to Implement". Any update on its progress? We currently have turned off RFI's and Submittals because of this issue and would like to more fully implement TEAMS. We cannot force our owners to use TEAMS nor do we want to.

    We're working on a "tracking" type submittal workflow for scenarios like this - the owner is mandating a different tool or the Team customer is a subcontractor who needs to put submittals somewhere else but still needs to track them in Team
