After the 1/27 update some column widths are defaulting to the max text, need to be able to narrow to fit the screen. After 1/27 you can display fewer columns on a single screen than before. Some columns allow narrowing, some do not. All should allow narrowing.

This now also applies to Documents but not as big a problem since not as many columns. Future by default all columns all docs need to be like Vista, allow any minimum, any column.

The preference is that any column can be set to a minimum width like description which truncates. Even though part of the description is truncated you still have control over the width. In one case I have along Submitter name and the column seems to be auto sizing to that maximum width. I do not mind truncating a name. Ultimately we need to support word wrap like PM Work Center inquiries.
If the column narrowed less than the header like "Submitter Due From" the header preferably would wrap since dropping "Due From" would make the column header have possibly two meanings, Due From/Due To.
As far as hidden columns, in the columns tool yes allow, on the register, if I drag it to zero width then it should hide, acting just like Vista, one user experience....
