Some Architects don't want to use a collaborative platform but require documents to be sent via email. We need the ability to create a contact on the project that represents the Architect to allow the forms to print the Architects contact info without sending them emails. If we could create a internal contact and make an alias for the Architect. The internal email would receive the notifications, but the forms would print the alias name and contact info.

Dear Viewpoint Suggestion Box contributor;
We at Viewpoint sincerely thank you for your contribution to Suggestion Box on how we can improve Viewpoint products. While we can’t do everything at once, we rely upon your feedback to help guide the prioritization of our product improvements, and Suggestion Box is a critical tool for us to understand and prioritize our customers’ needs.
Viewpoint reviews Suggestion Box regularly for all of our products and updates statuses, adds comments, and performs various house-keeping (including deleting) as needed to ensure that Suggestion Box is maintained as a productive environment for product enhancements requests.

We are looking for this functionality as well. We currently have GC's that do not use the Team application. The only current option is to assign the action item to ourselves. It would be nice to be able to assign an action item to a "non-collaborative contact." It could still be assigned to the user entering the item on their behalf as the user below states in their comment. The way it currently looks when we print an RFI is that it is sent to and from the same user.
Similarly, we have architects that do not want to be in the system - we we want a way to assign an item (like a submittal) to the Architect, but have the ability to a: not have emails sent and b: edit status, notes, dates, etc. on their behalf. This could still have an audit history that we entered it, but it’s still assigned to the architect.
