It would be better if we manually made this choice since we are also tracking internal issues on here and do not necessarily want everyone seeing the status of those automatically. I know we can change it back to private but have found people are forgettign that step which can cause major problems.

We are removing this silent state change in the upcoming release, targeted for early January.

This is almost a deal breaker for us using Issues in team. There are plenty of issues that come up that we do not want to share with external parties. It is not feasible for everyone to remember to go back in and switch an issue back to Private after being closed, especially when you have a large scale project and lots of people in the platform.

I believe you still can do multiple from Grid View. It is under the Icon just next to the Edit Icon (looks like an arrow going both directions), but we also run sensitive items thru Sbmtls for tracking such as signed Contracts and Pay Applications and also it is forgotten to change back to Private once approved occasionally. Seems if it starts as Private most likely more than not it should remain Private once Closed.

At minimum allow for the switching from public to private be done in batches or in the grid view, which I think you used to be able to do. Now having to click on each one to change is a waste of time.
