Before Distribution Groups, we had to create an RFI and setup 1 user as the To Contact then add additional responders as we HAVE to have everyone respond to the RFI and supply their input.  This works well, however, ONLY the To contact gets the notifications that others have responded so won't work for us. 

The Distribution Group new feature I thought would resolve this issue, however, when sending an RFI to a group, once 1 person responds, the ball in court moves back to the From and no other users can respond, AND no one in the To gets a notification of the response.  This won't work for us either.

I need to stress the extreme importance of an RFI and having all of our consultants provide their responses, have it all logged and most importantly, NOTIFY all involved of all the responses.  We cannot get this functionality today and it is crucial.

We are having to do RFI updates in Outlook using reply to all and it works better.  We desperately need this functionality.

On a Distribution Group on an RFI, the contacts should all have the X and checkmark options so the ball in court does not change until all parties have responded or the author changes the state.  These responses all need to be emailed to all parties else no one will know that it's been updated.
