Currently, you have be in the document record to see a related item. It would be extremely helpful if the you could see the related items in the Log View. An example of this would be for the RFI Workflow. Our subs are submitting a Sub RFI and we are creating a related Formal RFI record for submission to the Architect. Once the formal workflow is completed and the formal RFI is made public, the sub could see the related formal RFI from their log and would be able to click on it to view the record. Additionally, the Contractor would always have that one to one relationship between the two different RFI types without having to navigate from record to record.

I was just thinking of this same feature but then got hung up on situations where there would be multiple related items. IE an Issue that has multiple RFI's related to it. . . Maybe it would be nice to have the related items show up like the attachments do in the list view with a hover link and a flyout with list/links to the related items?
