When we submit something to our subcontractors or the owner/engineer, we would like to be able to generate a complete list of submittal "ball in courts" that we can filter by BIC. Within this list, we would like to be able to have a counter running from the day we either received the item back, or sent it to somewhere else so we know what is within specifications, as well as to keep on top of our document control through the life of the project. Having a counter would be helpful to substantiate delay notices or CO for consistently not meeting deadlines per spec.

Dear Viewpoint Suggestion Box contributor;
We at Viewpoint sincerely thank you for your contribution to Suggestion Box on how we can improve Viewpoint products. While we can’t do everything at once, we rely upon your feedback to help guide the prioritization of our product improvements, and Suggestion Box is a critical tool for us to understand and prioritize our customers’ needs.
Viewpoint reviews Suggestion Box regularly for all of our products and updates statuses, adds comments, and performs various house-keeping (including deleting) as needed to ensure that Suggestion Box is maintained as a productive environment for product enhancements requests.

We do have plans for the ability to customize the submittal workflow so each step could have multiple required contacts - we're still working through the design on this though. I do like the idea of a ball-in-court day counter though - will look into this as a shorter-term item.
