One of the best features that we actually like, and can recommend other folks, in Vista (VEC) is the Submittal Register and it's functionality. You can input all of your submittal information in a grid view, create transmittals using custom templates, track progress, and handle all aspects of the submittal process. The submittal feature in Viewpoint TEAM would be a lot better if it worked just like the Submittal Register in Vista (VEC) with the added benefits of attaching and document sharing that Viewpoint Team offers.
BTW: The import from Excel feature is not what I'm talking about as a solution. If we have to input submittals in Excel, then we will never use the submittal feature in Viewpoint Team. It's not set up how Contractor's process and handle submittals.
