It seems many of us have been requesting additional options when it comes to customizing our cover sheets over the past several years. I have not seen much response from Viewpoint on implementing anything new to these forms. Here are some of the requests we would like to see:
STAMPS: This has to be one of the biggest drawbacks to your submittal cover sheets. Having to download the cover sheet just to stamp and re-upload with your submittal is a waste of time and resources.
Additional Merge Fields: Submitter, Dates (passed from one state to another), Reviewer, CC contacts, etc. We enter a lot of information so why can't we get it back out?
Combined Submittals: Packaging and submitting multiple into one document with one cover sheet.
Add the cover sheet to the submittal attachment automatically. Why is it the only way to view the cover sheet is to print the submittal?
Feel free to comment and add items I have missed as I know there are plenty more.

Makes no sense to me to have to save a template cover sheet, download the item that the cover sheet needs added to and then reupload the document because Team doesn't allow quick access to attach within the program. Way to inefficient!

Agreed. We are looking for adding the Subcontractor Name and our Reviewer Contact Name to the Contractor's Stamp box. Since this would change with each submittal hard coding this data does not work. We need these fields available. Also, the Submittal STANDARD DISTRIBUTION LANGUAGE only shows up on the cover sheet after the submittal is closed, which would mean the need to create a new submittal bundle, which would then not include the Architect's stamp. That workflow is broken IMO.
