Missing Submittal MergeFields

Submittal custom cover sheets are missing fields that are needed on many projects. For example most project specifications require the submittal type (Product Data, Shop Drawing, etc.).

My current project's required fields are:

• Project Name

• Date

• Name or Architect

• Name of Contractor/ Construction Manager

• Name of firm or entity that prepared submittal (crossed off because this usually isn't included on the cover sheet)

• Name of subcontractor, manufacturer, and supplier

• Unique submittal number (based on spec section)

• Category and Type of submittal

• Submittal purpose and description

• Spec section

• Drawing reference

• Indication of full or partial submittal

• Locations where product is to be installed

• Other necessary identification

• Remarks

• Signature of transmitter (someday we will be able to stamp on team but this is already being worked on)

I crossed off the ones that the current mail merge can do and highlighted items are ones where Teams has the information available and should be able to fill it in automatically. I also crossed off items that aren't applicable.

  This is starting to be a critical item for me. the subcontractor information autofill being broken is extremely inconvenient.
