Please add a place for internal notes on a submittal that would only be visible to the GC. It could either be in another tab where the comments and history tabs are or just as a comments box under the related documents. A General Contractor would benefit from having a place for employees to note what actions have been taken or reviewed such as phone calls made to subs and parts of a submittal that have been reviewed, without these comments being visible to the subcontractors or to the Architect or Owner. This would allow for better communication inside of an organization through the Viewpoint Team's Software.

Our PE's are exporting the log to Excel to have a space for this. That isn't at all efficient!! And doesn't help me get enthusiasm for the product. . .
Please consider this - or at least allow the Notes field in the Submittal creation window show SOMEWHERE.

Great idea. This will help keep the entire management team informed while remaining attached to the submittal itself rather than searching for relevant emails.
