We would like to be able to assign submittals to contacts within Team before inviting them to the project first. We get our submittals log built up as soon as possible and may not have invited the Subcontractors to the project yet. We might be waiting to the kick off meeting with that sub to explain in person the process. Once we are ready to Issue the submittals, then yes, they should be invited, but just to be assigned, it would be great to allow “contacts only”.
