There are times when the architect needs to approve a submittal and then the owner needs to be the 'main' approval. As it is now if you select approver and additional approver, the 'main' approver can approve the submittal without the additional approver (architect) being able to approve it and keep track of this. Need a separate line in work flow for additional approver before the main approver can approve and close out.

There should also be an option to choose if both the main approver and the additional approver are equals and can both close out the item. We have an architect that splits the workload with another architect and they should both be able to close out the submittal, not just the main approver.

Agree with this suggestion. I'd refine it to suggest a checkbox to make additional approver manadatory. Right now the main approver can over-ride the additionals and change the state to Approved. Sometimes we need more than one before we can consider it approved. Thanks!
