In Vista, we can rename any field or hide non-required fields. Since TEAM integrates with Vista, we should be able to customized the forms and fields as we do in Vista so one field is not called something different. In TEAM only some fields in Submittals can be renamed, but it should be any.

The ability to change the fields in the entry form upon creating a new Submittal OR RFI so that they appear on the cover sheet, as shown in the attachment, is what I am looking for. If this information appears anywhere else such as in the list view of RFI's or Submittals it would be an appreciated bonus. If there is any way I am able to further clarify please let me know.
Thanks for the response Sam! I am looking forward to showing GC's' our new generated Submittal or RFI cover sheet and having more hope in getting them on board with using our software. As a subcontractor we have come across using several other project management software provided by the GC and I can say I'm a big fan of Vista Team and would like to see it progress in a more flexible manner.

Forrest would the ability to customize just the RFI/Submittatl cover sheet solve the problem here, or would you need to be able to customize the labels shown on the Team website as well?

This would ultimately determine whether the RFI's & Submittals would be useful for us beyond tracking them internally. The general contractor on a current project requires certain fields on the cover sheet of our RFI's & Submittals. Idealy we would have Vista team generate the submittal or RFI (which looks much more organized and professional than our current excel generated cover sheet), but because there is no place to put the GC's Required fields in other than the question or suggestion boxes on RFI's we cant use the generated form.
As im sure all of us need changes like this one immediately but this would be most useful for us during the current time in the project that I'm working on as it is currently heavy with submittals and RFI's.
