Need additional role permissions Merged

TEAM allows you to select from Firm Contacts in Vista to add them to TEAM, if you have the highest level rights “Project Editor”. The next lower level right is Collaborator which is likely/could be an outside party. It seems we need intermediate level rights for Viewpoint Vista users and they are allowed to add Contacts in TEAM but not use “Bulk Edit” like Project Editor rights. A good look at rights is in order.

    Definitely need to be informed when more permissions are established.  I am finding that I need to give all our internal vista users project editor status in order to do most of the things they need to do, like edit daily logs and issues that they create.  Do not want them all to have project editor status though for documents.  Presents a big problem

    Planning to introduce some additional roles with a bit more granularity soon -- and the ability to create your own roles and assign permissions in the next few months.

    Would like to assign detailers to the Project Reviewer role EXCEPT we would like them to be able to submit issues.

    The capability to modify dates is only with the "project editor" role.

    You can bulk edit dates in TEAM even if the submitttal workflow process has started. I like this for demo prep purposes but editing dates in a Workflow is still questionable as a best practice.
