Currently when I create a view for instance "RFI Log" I am unable to allow the status to show up as a column in the log.

No I mean the status field that we can choose. We have different statuses for the different types that we need to show on a report

Molly, do you mean the "State" of the RFI? This has been in the product for a few months and is accessible from the grid settings control at the top right of the register.

This is a big issue for our company as well - causing push back from users
