When adding root folder in Documents you currently have to add each Project member individually. Not a big deal to do once because you can make subsequent subfolders and they inherent the members but as you add more Project members you have to remember to add them to folder which, depending how you set up project could be multiple folders.

Good to hear the Public Folders feature helped you Bobby. We'll still keep this one open though as we do believe there's still a good use for Groups in Team. Particularly as we look to provide more granular permissions on folders.

This issue was resolved with the addition of Public/Private Option to Document folders

You could also use the Group to add them to the folders instead of adding each individual separate and having to remember to add new Project Members you add. If you could assign Group at the same time as you assign Collaboration.

Most likely on Document/Security related items. Most times you want all to see the Sbmtls and RFI's. I see that once these items are closed, all Project TEAM Members can see those so doesn't appear to be issue there.

Thanks for the input. We definitely agree that folder security would be easier to setup with groups. Do you see yourself using these same groups elsewhere on the project? For example in a CC to an RFI or Submittal? Or would these just be groups specific to your document/folder security?
