Right now the RFI auto numbering is hard coded to increment 1,2, 3 etc. Many customers like to number RFI's with different number schemes, for example: 001, 002, 003. Suggestion is to add fields to the RFI project settings to support setting the number of characters and what the starting # should be.

Yes!
This would be great! It would also be nice if we could have a prefix based on the RFI Type. For example Type 1 has a prefix of F so the numbering will be "F001" "F002" and Type 2 will have a prefix of H so the numbering will be "H001" "H002" etc.
We like the ability to auto number based on Types, but some more customization would be incredibly helpful!
This would be a great feature! Will this be implemented soon?
