Daily Logs Need to be flexible for companies to adjust the setup on demand. (BOTH Company Wide and Project Level would be great!)
Auto Number option:
Many State, Federal, DOD (Military) contracts/contracting officers require that the Daily/QC reports be sequenced in the file naming structure to ensure that logs are not missed or skipped altogether. Just appending the date to the file is not enough. We need the ability to have an auto numbering system that we can specify several leading characters followed by a trailing number (ie, ABCDEFGH-0001).
Static Field Notes:
Give us a free form (grow-able field) at the top of the report where we can enter some static info that will be on every report created. Both in web view and printed/PDF form. Make this field able to be selected (preferably on by Default) when choosing to "copy" a report from another day.
Again State, Federal, DOD (Military) contracts/contracting officers require that there be certain information on each Daily Log/QC Report that is specific to the Contract or specs. A few examples are Contract Number, Site Location, Project Name, Park Name, etc.
Report Copy Functions:
Give me more flexibility. Let me choose what sections and things to copy. Currently when you go to copy a report forward we are prompted with "comments", and/or "History". Use this is idea and let's choose what sections and notes to copy as well
