PLEASE FIX IT!
Project Closeout - now in Theory - because it does not not appear to work all the time... IS SUCH a useful feature. I have submitted numerous support cases as it has been suggested to others having same issue. Hangs in Process.
Does it time out?
Are there certain parameters for a successful documents export?
(Are we doing something that causes it to hang us?)
Smaller exports have been successful but when creating an export for documents which have many subfolders and large files, it is not. (So disappointing!)

We have the same problem as well, have an open case, but no mention of this limitation. We were told our project size is too large.
No issues I'm aware of - so long as Windows can handle it the closeout process should be able to as well.

Is it also affected by documents or folders named with special characters?
Hi Teri, we did discover a limitation in one of our components that causes a problem with the exports when the file path (length of filename + length of all parent folder names) is greater than ~230 characters which is almost certainly what's going on here. We have a fix identified and are working on implementing it. I see you have a support case open so I'll let our support team work with you on more details there.
