On project sites we have foremen, general foremen, and superintendents that have the responsibility to fill out daily logs.
We would like for one compiled daily log that can be submitted by the superintendent or project manager to the client. We would like to have the ability to select which portions are to be included in the compiled daily log.
We would also need the functionality to edit in the compiled daily log without revising the original copy.
We do not mind having to created different types of daily logs i.e. foremen, general, vs. superintendent/project manager to enable the compilation.
We are aware that multiple people can contribute to a single daily log but would prefer each individual post their daily log for ownership of the task. We want to retain the functionality of the individual daily log being visible in the to-do list for Foremen instead of the responsibility residing with the Project Manager/Superintendent (when we utilize a single shared daily log).
A major issue we have with using contributors resides in the functionality of the mobile device application for Team. After daily logs are posted, no one can edit. Every contributor has the ability to post the daily log. And if individuals have access to post a daily log after finishing their portion, they will exercise that option.
