We'd like to have user defined tags to better sort on a job specific basis. i.e. tag RFIs as a structural, architectural, etc. This would better help contractors weed out RFI's that pertain to them. While a contractor might not have been involved with the RFI, the response could impact their scope of work. Instead of going through all the RFIs on a regular basis, they could simply filter by the tags. This would need to allow for multi-select tagging and searching, meaning an RFI could be tagged as Mechanical & Structural and a contractor should be able to filter for items that are more than one tag. Also - not sure this should be restricted to RFIs be could be employed across the system in areas like Issues as well.
This would also help a contractor who is just coming on board to get a quick glance of what's been happening on a project that might relate to their scope of work prior to their package being started.
