We have data-sensitive folders and need to easily run an audit report on who has access to what folders for an entire project. Right now we have to open every folder and check the user lists but we need to run these periodically as user-permissions change, new consultants join the TEAM etc.

This is now 2 years old. We are still running into this issue trying to see if we can find leaks in permissions for private folders but literally have to click on every single folder for every project. This hasn't even been marked as looked at yet. Come on Viewpoint!
We are running into this problem as well - people are hesitant to upload some documents due to having to select each folder and edit to view security.
This is becoming more and more urgent as we add more folders and users to projects. We have many files that not everyone should be able to see (contracts and such) and when folders are set to Private, we have NO idea what folders or folders within folders are shared to what users.
It's making some of our senior managers hesitant to upload these types of documents to Team until we can be assured we can quickly see what contacts have access to.

Deleting Folders or Documents - Notify the Originator & Give them access to Override or Revive deleted file/folder
Because of the lack of versatility in users access ( saw its in progress) we are having to give more people project editor rights so they can create folders without having to bug a manager to do so. I'm seeing that any project editor can delete anyones files or folders and there is nothing we can do to get those documents back. I would recommend Three things
1. Add a module for admins that can access all deleted files within the last XX months/days and gives them the ability to revive deleted files back to its original status
2. When anyone deletes a file, a email notification is sent to the originator and possibly anyone else who has accessed/edited that file so they have the ability to download a copy and or revive the file back to original state
3. Each project has a main HISTORY LOG, and you can reference this log to always see who is uploading what, editing and deleting items.
