Description: We need the ability to link RFI's directly onto drawing sheets. The link would state the RFI number and include a pin that could be selected when viewing the drawings on the Web or in the Mobile app.
The links/numbers would also remain on the drawing sheet when exporting a drawing file for as-builts, etc. The drawing would show the RFI# or other item# on the sheet.
Why: Creates a solid set of record documents and allows for quick and steady access to items on your drawing sheets while viewing drawings in the field or office.
Who benefits: GC, Subs, Design Team, Owner, etc.
How to handle: I believe you all may be working on this item but could be wrong.

Is there any update as to when we may see this feature released? We saw a demo of this last year and cannot wait for this to be available. Thanks.
In general, the ability to relate a markup to an RFI, Submittal, and especially a document in Documents would be ideal for all cases, not just RFI posting
When do we expect this feature to be available? Our company leadership is in the process of evaluating platforms moving forward and this feature, along with local versions of the Drawings, RFIs, etc. on mobile devices are at the top of the list of criteria.
Another option would be to have the ability to add a cloud, etc. to a Drawing, give it a description which shows up when you hover over it, and then be able to 'Relate' it to the RFI, etc.
That would be ideal too. To have the ability to have a link via TEAM to/from the Drawing and RFI as well as the ability to ‘Post’ it officially via a Bluebeam (we have branded stamps, etc.) process and have the postings pull up the same way.

Not yet, the mobile app doesn't support deep linking in the current App Store version, though its coming soon. Any of your existing web links will automatically re-direct to the app once this feature is released. You won't need to make special links for mobile.
That would be ideal: mobile app mobile app. Is there a way to modify the HTTP: hyperlink to redirect it to the mobile app instead of the browser.

Thats an interesting workaround Lon. We of course don't want you to do all that work and are actively working on this feature now.
On a related note though, we are working on redirecting you to the mobile app if you are deep linked into a particular item from a mobile device (like say clicking on an RFI from a notification, it will soon redirect you to that item in the mobile app).
The only current way I have found to post RFIs to drawings is to post it in Bluebeam, set the hyperlink to the RFI address in TEAM and then upload the revised Drawing. This works, although the hyperlink opens up the Browser version (because it is HTTP:...) which makes you login to view. Inconvenient in the field.
