Add Ability to Delete Users from User Management in Admin Centre

We need the ability to delete a USER once they have been removed from a project.  If we have Employee turnover, or short projects, the list is getting quite large of disabled users.

This is the response I get from this, Nothing will ever be done, this is from 5 years ago!!!! It makes zero sense to not have a delete button-you can always add someone back in!!!

    Hi Crys,

Users cannot be removed from Team, they can be disabled only, so unfortunately they will still appear in the search box when adding contacts to a project.

I understand the frustration of seeing user's names who are no longer with your company appear in the search box, so I would recommend writing a suggestion to our Team Suggestion Box recommending the ability to remove users from Team, so that when a user leaves, they can no longer be added as a project contact. The suggestions that are written here are emailed directly to our product team. Other Team users can upvote and comment on suggestions they would like to see in Team. Our Product team reviews these suggestions, votes and comments to determine which improvements will be implemented in Team.

Please let me know if you have any additional questions.
    Thank you,

This was reported in October of 2018. Four years has passed since the request was made for reasonable functionality. There can not be an infinite list of users to have to manage.

    PLEASE FIX THIS ISSUE....

Aaron, to your point, what about a user that never exists and is setup by mistake. For instance, we setup a user with an invalid e-mail address by accident. There is no such e-mail, so this user cannot set themself up in the system. Thus there is nothing really to own for that user. Furthermore, we need to remove this user because it is preventing us from adding the correct user to projects. Even though we've disabled or revoked the "bad" user and enabled the correct one, they share the same name (one just has bad e-mail address). When we try to invite the user to projects, even though the correct user and e-mail pops up in the contacts list, when we actually invite the user, the invite is sent to the bad e-mail address...perhaps because the bad user is listed first in the database? This is a clear area where we or someone at Viewpoint needs to remove the bad user from the database altogether. Otherwise we cannot move forward with adding this user to projects.

Also, the ability to change a Users Type would be very beneficial, my understanding is this is how the licenses are managed and we have changes that move a user from ERP to just internal which would mean a different User Type that currently I can't change

I understand the need to have more control over the User Management screen - being able to have different ways to manage that list.

More requirements gathering will be required for "deleting" a user. Once a user has been added they "own" themselves. We can give you the ability to "remove" them from your enterprise - but keeping the user in the system. Plus that user may be part of another enterprise.

Mercedes, I agree with your request here and also wanted to add a few more scenarios for the viewpoint team to think about why this would be beneficial.

Scenario #1: We had a misspelling of one of our team members so now that individual looks to have (2) contacts to choose from when we are inviting him to projects and is causing confusion.

Scenario #2: An external user is invited to the program but never accepts the invitation than we don't necessarily want them located on our User Management screen.

Scenario #3: When an internal team member may decide to quit and find employment somewhere else or they might be fired we would not want to always have that individuals name show up within this area as a constant reminder of that persons negative employment.
