From what I have observed and read in the documentation TEAM supports only one-directional synchronization of TEAM to Vista of transactional data such as Issue, Submittal's and RFI's. The idea of one-directional synchronization of TEAM to Vista I believe comes up short of the collaboration objective. Any transaction that can be initiated or edited in TEAM should conversely be able to be initiated or edited in Vista and synced to TEAM given the project exists in TEAM. Data between systems should never be intentionally different. I thought I saw a related suggestion with the proposed solution being to suppress the ability to update records in Vista when the project exists in TEAM. That in my opinion is just masking a significant shortcoming.

This looks like a 3 year old problem. We just went to Team and found that our existing content in Vista will not come over to Team making the value of Team diminish unless we want to go back and hand input all of our RFIs, Submittals, changes, etc. In addition, if things entered in Team carry over to Vista, will i double it in Vista when i hand enter it in Team? That is not an integrated system!
AGREED!
Agreed. It is ridiculous that the two products can't talk to each other.
