Currently there is only an option to print a register, but all other modules have the ability to export the register, so we can format it as needed. If I print the register now, I have to keep changing the column widths to get everything to show properly. I also have to keep clicking "Show More" on each discipline 2-3 times so everything shows.
IF it would just integrate to Vista's Drawing Logs, I could just use a customized report...

Sam, I appreciate all of the updates you have added to suggestions recently. Is there any sort of time frame or road map with dates that we can expect for these changes? As this topic is already over one year old and some topics end up sitting in these advanced stages for a while, it would be nice to know if this will be implemented first quarter or not until next December. Again, thank you for all of the additional information you have provided.

We plan to improve this from both sides - fix the "Print Register" feature so it includes the entire drawings log, and implement an Excel export (similar to the Submittals/RFIs/Issues export) so you have a little more control over the format when necessary.

Creating a separate drawing log to become a contract or subcontract exhibit is something that should be a standard feature. We put the data into teams but cannot get it out. Excel export would be helpful.

Totally agree. Currently there is no way to generate a drawing log. Even using the print option only takes a screenshot of what you currently have on your screen. With some of our projects having several hundred drawings it would take forever to print one page at a time.

The ability to export the Drawings to an Excel sheet like RFIs, Submittals, etc. would be ideal. That way we could import it to Vista to create Drawing Logs since the two don't talk much.
Being able to apply filters, views, etc. prior to export is also desirable.
